What You Can Do with the App
The JobsIrish.ie app brings the full power of the website to your phone, with four standout features designed for busy job seekers:
1. Browse Jobs
Search thousands of jobs across Ireland by title, keyword, or company. Filter by location, job type, and category to quickly find roles that match your skills — whether that's Construction, Healthcare, IT & Software, Administration, or any of the popular categories shown on the app's home screen.
2. Instant Alerts
Get notified the moment a new job that matches your skills is posted. No more refreshing a page or missing out on early applications — the app does the watching for you.
3. Save & Apply
Bookmark jobs you're interested in and apply quickly on the go. The Saved tab keeps your shortlist in one place, so you can return to a role when you have time to tailor your application.
4. Easy & Fast
Simple, secure, and built for job seekers like you. The interface is clean and intuitive, with a bottom navigation bar giving you instant access to Jobs, Saved, Alerts, and your Profile.
Why a Jobs App Matters in Ireland
Over 70% of Irish job seekers now start their job search on a mobile device. A native app means faster browsing, offline job saving, and push notifications that put you first in line when new roles drop.
The Irish job market moves quickly. Whether you're a General Operative in Cork, an Office Administrator in Dublin, or a Healthcare Assistant in Galway, the roles that fit you best can fill within days — sometimes hours. A native mobile app helps you:
- React faster to new postings with instant push alerts
- Apply during your commute or lunch break
- Keep your CV and saved jobs organised in one place
- Avoid missing opportunities because you were away from a desktop computer
What's on the Home Screen?
The app's home screen — shown in the promotional graphic above — is built around four quick-access areas:
- Search bar — Enter a job title, keyword, or company together with your preferred location
- Popular Categories — Quick links to Construction, Healthcare, IT & Software, Admin, and more
- Recent Jobs — A live feed of the newest roles, including General Operative, Office Administrator, and Healthcare Assistant listings
- Bottom navigation — Jump between Jobs, Saved, Alerts, and Profile with a single tap
iOS Is Coming Soon

We're putting the finishing touches on the Apple version now, and it will bring the same search, alerts, save, and apply features to iPhone and iPad users across Ireland. Keep an eye on JobsIrish.ie and our social channels for the official launch date.
How to Download
Downloading the app takes less than a minute — just tap the button below to head straight to the app on Google Play:
- Tap Install on the Google Play page
- Open the app, create a free account or sign in, and start browsing
That's it — you'll be browsing live Irish jobs before your next cup of tea is ready.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of the App
- Complete your profile early. A full profile means better job matches and faster applications.
- Turn on push notifications. Instant alerts are the app's biggest advantage — don't silence them.
- Set up multiple saved searches. Save one search per location or job type you're open to, so you capture every relevant posting.
| Tip | Why it helps | |---|---| | Keep your CV updated in your profile | Lets you apply in seconds when the right role appears | | Use specific keywords in saved searches | More relevant alerts, less noise | | Check Saved daily | Don't lose track of roles you bookmarked earlier in the week |
