CNC Turner – Fanuc Experience CM Precision Engineering is looking for an experienced CNC Turner with Fanuc control experience to join our team in Carrickmacross. This is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist looking for a full-time, permanent position in a busy precision engineering environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to a high standard. Key responsibilities will include: Setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Programming and making programme adjustments at the machine Selecting appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds Producing precision components to drawing specifications Inspecting finished components using appropriate measuring equipment Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship Working efficiently both independently and as part of the team Maintaining a clean and safe working environment What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Good working knowledge of Fanuc controls CNC setting and programming experience Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience using precision measuring equipment Good understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds and feeds Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and take responsibility for jobs from setup through to completion Experience within a toolmaking or precision engineering environment would be an advantage.
